Every day we are made aware of the numerous needs of those persons both close to home and within the Coffee County community. We at St. Barnabas are so blessed to have the opportunity to help fill those needs. We have many volunteers who donate their time, talents and treasures but most of all we are all uplifted by the prayers and donations from our parish family.
The Outreach Committee is not limited in the ways it can help. We offer monetary assistance through the Wolfe Fund allowing us to assist in monthly expenses that can be burdens such as: rent, gas, water or electric bills. We also assist those in need of medical supplies or attention through the donations of medical equipment and by providing transportation to and from appointments. School supplies, warm clothing and most of all, food to eat, make up the majority of needs we need to fill. It doesn’t end there!
Won’t you help us fill the food pantry at Good Samaritan and The Shepherds House? Help us help those in need at Haven of Hope or at The Salvation Army. If you feel called to this area of Ministry, please seek the Rector’s attention and join us!
